I hated my white fridge. I have a black island, and a black dishwasher, and desperately want a black fridge & stove. I actually stole this idea from someones blog...and she too hated her former fridge. I am sorry I don't remember who it was or I would give credit where credit is due. So, thanks Blog World for the idea!!
(& it was only $15 for the chalkboard paint, with 2 coats on the fridge, there is still over half still left of a small can!)

That is a great idea, love chalkboard paint...it looks great.
ReplyDeleteYou are braver than me! lol I think my appliances are safe from me painting them. :) This looks awesome though and I know my kids would love it, although I am not going to do it to make them happy! Thanks for sharing at my party. Chris

I agree with Chris that you're very brave. It looks great but I'm sure if I did that it would be an epic fail.
ReplyDeleteGreat job!

The fridge looks great! My hubby would love to do this with our fridge, it's boring silver at the mo. I'd much rather go for something bright and cheerful!
ReplyDeleteI'd never get the kids out the kitchen!
What a great idea!! I'm really thinking of doing this! Thanks for linking to Thrifty Thursday! :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Very daring......looks great, I love the idea of writing notes right onto the fridge.
